K-Beauty Expo Korea 2026 Highlights: Global Beauty Trends and PIE’s New 3D Skin Analysis Technology

작성자: PIE 날짜: 2026-10-22 조회: 9

The 18th K-Beauty Expo Korea 2026 took place from October 15 to 17 at KINTEX in Ilsan, South Korea. Over the three-day event, companies across cosmetics, aesthetics, beauty equipment, and other sectors showcased their products and technologies, connecting with buyers and visitors from around the world.

PIE Co., Ltd. also participated, giving visitors the opportunity to experience its skin, scalp, and hair analysis systems firsthand. Among visitors looking for new products and business opportunities, PIE’s analysis solutions and 3D technology under development attracted considerable interest.

A Global Beauty Exhibition Featuring 679 Companies from 15 Countries

This year’s K-Beauty Expo brought together 679 companies from 15 countries, including 597 Korean companies and 82 overseas companies, across 1,088 booths. According to the organizers, approximately 55,000 people visited the exhibition to explore beauty products, technologies, and business opportunities.

The exhibition covered a wide range of sectors, including skincare, makeup and nails, hair, aesthetics, ingredients and packaging, OEM and ODM, smart beauty, and vegan beauty. From buyers sourcing finished products to professionals preparing new brands or services, visitors could explore products and potential partners suited to their needs.

Alongside Korean exhibitors, overseas companies added to the variety on display. The opportunity to compare products and brands from different countries and speak directly with company representatives was another highlight of the exhibition.

Discovering Products and Building International Business Connections

K-Beauty Expo offered opportunities to explore beauty products while discussing business deals and international market expansion.

The export consultation program for invited international buyers, organized by KINTEX and KOTRA’s Northern Gyeonggi Office, welcomed approximately 220 buyer companies from 50 countries. Other business-focused programs included the “K-Beauty Insight Concert,” covering global market trends and growth strategies, and information sessions on entering Chinese online platforms.

For buyers, the event offered opportunities to discover new products and suppliers. For exhibitors, it was a chance to hear directly about demand in different markets. PIE also met buyers from various countries to discuss how skin and scalp analysis equipment could be used in their local beauty markets.

Hands-On Skin and Scalp Analysis at the PIE Booth

Understanding how a new device could be used starts with seeing its operation and results firsthand. PIE welcomed visitors to its booth to experience skin, scalp, and hair analysis for themselves.

Visitors experienced the equipment’s functions by having images of their skin and scalp captured and reviewing their analysis results. Through demonstrations and consultations, buyers also explored how the products could fit their local beauty markets, with some making purchases at the exhibition.

PIE also showcased a range of products, including DuoRay, a device that visualizes sunscreen application and can help engage customers interested in purchasing sunscreen.

Through individual product demonstrations, visitors could explore the features and operation of each device.

Introducing AI-Powered 3D Features and a Next-Generation Device in Development

At the exhibition, PIE also demonstrated an AI-powered 3D reconstruction feature planned for its existing JANUS systems.

This feature uses AI to reconstruct facial photographs taken from the front, left, and right, allowing users to view the entire face in a single 3D view.

Visitors were intrigued by the ability to explore the face in three dimensions rather than viewing each photograph separately.

PIE also exhibited a prototype of a separate 3D skin analyzer currently under development.

By exploring the physical device and its screen, visitors received an early look at the new technology PIE is developing. For our team, it was also a valuable opportunity to hear feedback on the new features and equipment and exchange ideas about their future applications.

Interest in New Features and Products at K-Beauty Expo

K-Beauty Expo 2026 brought together beauty products, technologies, and industry professionals from around the world, creating opportunities to meet in person and explore potential collaborations.

PIE successfully concluded the exhibition with strong interest from visitors and buyers.

Building on the product experiences, purchase consultations, and feedback on our new 3D technology shared at the event, we will continue developing skin analysis solutions for a wide range of markets.

Thank you to everyone who visited the PIE Co., Ltd. booth.
